7/20/2024

Author: Diana Fruh
National Moth Week started in 2012 as a local mothing event through Friends of East Brunswich Environmental Commission, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in New Jersey.
It soon grew into an international citizen science initiative, inviting organizations and individuals worldwide to participate in documenting moth species across the globe.
Check details about hosting your own moth event at

Take a tour this week of the May Museum and learn more about the incredible world of moths. On display in our collection, you'll find some of the largest and most beautiful moths from the tropics.
